Oral, visual and written evidence of coal mining and miners in South Wales.Printed book and pamphlet collections, including the libraries of over 60 institute and welfare halls from across the coalfield, oral history, video, poster, and banner collections.
Also, books, journals and audio-visual materials, selected to support adult education courses.
There is level access to the South Wales Miners’ Library. Parking is available directly outside the building. The library has wheelchair access to the ground floor only. Staff will be happy to fetch items from the upper floors.
