I'm an editor for HLISD but my library is no longer listed

If your library record has not been updated in the last 2 years, it may no longer show in the directory or in search results.

You can re-activate your library listing by editing the record or marking it as up to date. If you need assistance, please contact support@hlisd.org.

I can’t find the library I’m looking for through any of the search methods?

If new entries are required, email us at support@HLISD.org and these will added to the database. We will, however, need you to nominate an editor to keep it up to date.

How do I find a Document Supply Code?

Scroll to the foot of the page and click on "Libraries". In the Advanced Search box under "Document Supply Includes" enter the code you require.

In search of editor details

Each entry is editing by a local editor. If you are unaware of who that is or if the details have changed please e-mail the National Systems Manager at HLISD@knowledgeforhealthcare.nhs.uk.

How should I enter my Document Supply Code(s)?

Please enter your code followed by the network name in brackets, and separate each entry with a semi colon. For example: LIB1 (LENDS); ABC (NULJ); XYZ (PLCS). Please include the network name in brackets after the code even if you are a member of one only.

Which Networks should I select in my library record?

Please select only the collaborative network(s) to which your library belongs. Please don't select, for example, geographical collaborative networks located elsewhere.

I'm an editor for HLISD but I have forgotten how to log in

To log in go to https://www.hlisd.org/admin/. You can now edit any number of entries with one log in. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it via email by clicking on the 'Forgot your password' link on the sign-in page.

How do I find the library service I’m looking for?

You can find a library or information service in a number of ways -by browsing through the lists for libraries and networks, by searching by library name or organisation in the homepage search box.

How do I find a library contact?

You can find colleagues and key library contacts within the directory by browsing the Contacts list, or by searching for first name/surname in the homepage search box or by using the keyword search in the main site search on the contacts page.
