About our Service

Access Policy

Full Membership to University of Leicester Staff and Students. NHS staff working in Leicester or Leicestershire are able to join as external borrowers, at a reduced rate of £30 for 12 months, £10 for 3 months. Reference only access is free.

Collection and Service Information

Print books, ebooks, journals, medical and health databases in Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Operating Department Practice, Physiotherapy, Healthcare, Health Sciences. However, online resources are accessible to University staff and students only.

We hold the Leicester Medical Society library, largely historical material. And the Joan Walker Archive (Diabetes). For details of how to access Leicester Medical Society or archive material, please contact us.
