Access Policy

We provide support to locate, consider and utilise evidence or best practice for patient care, service design, research, education and lifelong learning. Enabling staff to stay ahead in their field.

We have a largely electronic library, with a range of e-books and e-journals. Physical books are posted to customers in the internal mail due to the geographic spread of Cheshire and Wirral Partnership. This includes areas such as Chester, Crewe, Macclesfield and the Wirral. Training is available at any Trust location for all staff and students on placement. Please contact cwp.library@nhs.net to arrange a date convenient for you.

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care – including the provision of three GP surgeries.

We have services across Wirral and Cheshire, as well as Trafford, Warrington, Bolton, Halton and Liverpool – and provide specialist services for the North West as a whole.
