About our Service

Access Policy

Full membership of the Library is open to all staff employed by University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust and those holding honorary contracts with the Trust. Phase I and Phase II Medical Students, Nursing and Allied Health Students may have full membership for the duration of their course.
Academic University staff who do not hold Trust contracts may have reference access to the Library.
Other use as negotiated with the Head of Knowledge Services or Service Level Agreements.

Collection and Service Information

A relevant and current collection of healthcare materials, both print and electronic, in support of clinical governance, evidence-based healthcare, education, research, and lifelong learning, which reflect the requirements and specialities of the Trust and the needs of those undertaking academic courses.

The library service holds more than 15,000 books and 12 print journals. The books are listed in the HeLM library catalogue at https://koha.healthlibrariesmidlands.nhs.uk/
