Access Policy

UHB staff and students on placement at the Trust only. Due to security arrangements we cannot permit any visitor access.

Collection and Service Information

An extensive multidisciplinary collection covering most acute care medical and surgical specialties. Also nursing, allied health subjects, health management, health research and statistics, education and professional development. Specialising in neuroscience and neurosurgery, oncology, burns and plastics, renal medicine, transplantation and major trauma. There is also a collection wellbeing, networks and healing books.

Accessibility

There is lift access to level 1 then access to the library is via a combination of manual and automatic doors. The library has automatic doors, wide aisles and reduced-level shelving for wheelchair users. A portable hearing loop is available at the counter.
