Health and Social Work Subjects studied at Oxford Brookes include: Adult Nursing, Children's Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Critical and Specialist Care, Cancer and Palliative Care, Public Health, Infection Prevention and Control, Health and Social Care Management, Paramedic Science, Psychology, Nutrition, Sports Exercise Sciences and Biomedical Sciences.
We have four Special Collections which may be of interest: Dorset House Archive: which documents the history of Dorset House, the first School of Occupational Therapy in the UK, The Medical Sciences Video Archive: is a notable collection of videotaped biographical interviews with over 130 important figures in clinical medicine and science from the United Kingdom and Australia, The Sally Croft collection: which is a core collection of Occupational Therapy texts, and The Welfare Collection: which is the books and papers of Charles Webster, Official Historian of the National Health Service held at Oxford Brookes University Library can be found by browsing the library webpages http://www.brookes.ac.uk/library/.
