Health Board staff have 24/7 access. Medical, nursing, and allied health students have full access and membership rights.

Collection and Service Information

Space restrictions dictate that we have a small collection of books (about 2.5k) and we subscribe to a variety of paper and electronic journal titles. The NHS Wales e-library for health allows NHS Wales staff access to a range of licensed resources including databases, evidence based resources, ejournals, ebooks and guidelines, and we provide training on the best use of these. For the rest we rely on our expert skills in information retrieval and networking with other services to provide an inter-library-loan service. There are five libraries within the Hywel Dda Local Health Board and we work in conjunction with each other.
