About our Service

Access Policy

The Medical Library, which is an affiliate of the University Library, serves:,1 Students & staff of the University School of Clinical Medicine,2 Other members of the University,3 NHS staff working in Cambridge,4 Others who may be admitted on application to the Librarian. A charge may be made to those wishing to use the library for purposes of commerce or profit.

Collection and Service Information

Multidisciplinary library service covering Medicine, Nursing and Professions Allied to Medicine, Health, Health Management, Mental Health

Approx. 50,000 books. Access to over 22,000 electronic journals (2000 specific to biomedicine) and a growing collection of e-books.
