About our Service

Access Policy

The library may be accessed by all staff employed by CDDFT, students on placement within the Trust and LetB staff. Visitors welcome by appointment

Collection and Service Information

The stock held in the library reflects the information needs of staff working and studying within the acute and community sector. Coverage includes a broad range of medical and general healthcare, nursing, management and research related material and resources. A collection of Medivision teaching DVD's are available for loan.

The historical section is now located in Darlington Memorial Hospital Library.
The library subscribes to 60 electronic journals and has a book stock of just over 5,000 items.

Accessibility

The library is on the ground floor, has level access and is wheelchair friendly. A disabled toilet is available in the reception area.,There is a small car park in front of the building.
