Collection and Service Information

• Access to books on a wide range of health related and related subjects such as medicine, surgery, nursing, research, leadership, and study skills
• a range of educational games
• resources to support health and wellbeing, including the bi-monthly Library’s Choice of fiction book available for staff to borrow
• Access to desk space and a scanning, printing, and photocopying device
• 24/7 remote access to library services and resources, including healthcare databases such as Medline and CINAHL and eBooks and journals via the library intranet and Internet site
• NHS OpenAthens accounts to access electronic library resources
• an enquiry service with the provision of literature searches to support the work of the Trust
• document delivery services where information can be obtained from another library on behalf of Trust staff
• current awareness and alerting services to help keep Trust staff up to date in their area of interest and new book bulletins
• training in the use of all aspects of the library, including healthcare databases such as Medline and CINAHL
