Access Policy

Membership, including 24-hour access, is available to all staff and students of United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust.
Free external membership is available to any NHS staff in the East Midlands under the East Midlands Access Policy.

We provide a collection of books, e-books and online library resources to meet the clinical and non-clinical information and learning needs of all staff. We also provide access to a general collection of fiction and non-fiction books to read for pleasure.

Accessibility

There is a lift to gain access to the first floor of the Educaton Centre. Then there is a ramp that can be used to gain entrance to the library. The entrance doors are not heavy but are not automatic so some users may require assistance. The entrance door is wide enough for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. The library is on one level (there are no slopes or areas that have steps) and it is carpeted throughout. There is enough space for wheelchairs and mobility scooters to move around the library. To access the library staff members need to use their Pilgrim ID card. The swipe card access box and door release button are easily accessible.
