About our Service

Access Policy

Members only library, free membership for all medical students in Liverpool. Access for reference use by non-members and researchers is by appointment only, charges may apply. Not open to the general public but group tours can be arranged.Please contact the Librarian for further information.

Collection and Service Information

Medical textbooks and atlases dating from 1530s to present, journals from 18th century to present, many from first editions and mostly bound (total of books and bound journals is approximately 30,000 volumes), pamphlet collection, medical instrument collection, portraits, prints, historic clock, small archive of papers from local Liverpool doctors, displays of collections.
