About our Service

Access Policy

All registered NHS staff members may borrow. The general public cannot borrow but can use the collection for reference purposes (all visitors must sign in at the Library Enquiry Desk). Charges are made for interlibrary loans that are not required for local NHS patient care or approved local NHS Research purposes i.e. course material will be chargeable.

Collection and Service Information

KGH print and electronic journals plus access to the National Core Content electronic journals. Over 18,000 books covering medical, nursing, management, computers etc. plus a fiction/leisure section. We also have a collection of clinical CDs and DVDs.
