About our Service

Access Policy

Only Members of the British Psychoanalytical Society, Candidates for membership, and participants in the New Entry Scheme may borrow books. Other academics, researchers and students may visit the Library and use it for reference purposes by prior arrangement with the Library staff.

Collection and Service Information

The Library houses one of the most complete collections of psychoanalytic and psychotherapeutic material in the world, with over 16,000 items and over 25 journal titles, and donations from the private collections of many leading psychoanalysts.
We offer access to the Psychoanalytic Electronic Publishing website PEP-Web.

Accessibility

We offer access for the disabled, including a ramp and a lift.
