Opening Times

Normal opening times:
9:30 a.m. to 16:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Closed at weekends and Bank Holidays.

In the event of remote working by library staff due to any future lockdown restrictions, the library space would remain accessible under our Out-of-Hours access scheme. The library team will be contactable by email as usual.

About our Service

Access Policy

Membership of the Library is open to all employees of Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust, including community-based staff, students on placement within the Trust, and staff from partner organisations under Service Level Agreements. Reference-only access or external membership is available to other healthcare professionals .

Accessibility

Located on the 3rd floor of Harrogate District Hospital. Level access from the lift.
Directions: from the front entrance of the hospital, go straight ahead along the main corridor and turn right at the end, into Strayside wing. The lifts and stairs are a little way along on the right. Go up to the 3rd floor and turn right from the lifts and stairs and then left into Strayside Education and Clinical Skills Centre. Take the right-hand door from the lobby; the library is at the far end of the corridor.
