Access Policy

Library membership, including 24-hour access, is available to all staff and students of United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust.
Free external membership is available to any NHS staff in the East Midlands under the East Midlands Access Policy during our staffed hours.

We provide a collection of books, e-books and online library resources to meet the clinical and non-clinical information and learning needs of all staff. We also provide access to a general collection of fiction and non-fiction books to read for pleasure.

Accessibility

There is step free access from the entrance of the hospital to the library. The library doors are heavy and not automatic so some users may require assistance. Both entrances have double doors and are wide enough for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. The library is on one level (there are no slopes or areas that have steps) and it is carpeted throughout. There is enough space for wheelchairs and mobility scooters to move around the library. The swipe card access box and door release button located near the staff entrance are both easily accessible.
