About our Service

Access Policy

Full access to College members and Fellows, optometry students and pre-registration trainees. For historians, researchers, artists and members of the public, access is for reference only for a small charge. All access by appointment only.

Collection and Service Information

Topics in Optometry, Ophthalmology and Vision Science. We have over 6000 books and pamphlets and c100 journal titles (hard copies and electronic).

We house the Keith Clifford Hall Collection of the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) and the Ophthalmic Antique International Collectors Club (OAICC). The collections are all reference only.

Accessibility

Ground floor and level. However, there are three steps on entrance into the College building. Please contact us beforehand to arrange access needs.
