About our Service

Access Policy

The library primarily serves serves Acute, Commissioning and GP groups within Bradford. Membership with borrowing rights is available to all NHS employees in the Bradford & Airedale NHS community. Reference access is available to the general public through the national Inspire scheme.

Collection and Service Information

Wide coverage of medical and health related topics from a health professional's perspective. A Health and Wellbeing collection, including some novels, is available.

There are 18 computers available in the Library during opening hours. Computer printing, photocopying and scanning facilities are also available. A BTHFT ID Badge enables 24 hour access to the Library. A range of electronic resources are available to the Trust's NHS users.

Accessibility

Disabled access via a ramp is available to Field House from the back entrance opposite the Maternity building. The library is accessible to wheelchair user and is fitted with an induction loop.
