Opening Times
Staffed hours are Mon-Fri 9:00-17:00.
24/7 access is available via BWC ID card for PC and FollowMe printer/scanner/photocopier use.
Self-issue book forms and a Book Returns Box are available.
About our Service
Access Policy
All BWC Trust staff (including locums, observers & secondments), students and volunteers are able to join the Library and Knowledge Service.
All members of the HeLM Library consortium are able to request loanable stock using their Library card.
Other eligible NHS staff may apply to join the library for a fee.
Collection and Service Information
BWC Libraries has a collection of books, focus games and multimedia items and e-books, e-journals and NHS England resources (with BWC OpenAthens account).
BMJ Best Practice (point of care tool) is available on all Trust computers or with a BWC OpenAthens account.
Specific collections are available to support Management Matters, #BLM, Menopause Matters, and Equality and Diversity topics, along with medical collection.

Accessibility
The library is located on the lower ground floor of the main hospital building.
Access is totally step free from the Hospital Main Entrance via the Education Centre- please tell the ERC staff on the buzzer if you need assistance with the doors.
The Library door is automatic with a Trust ID card, and has a push pad on the counter for exiting.
