The Knowledge Resources Service is open to health and partner staff who have a health remit and who live or work within Nottingham City. The full range of services, including information literacy skills training, enquiry services and inter-library loans, are available to CCG staff, City Care staff, general practice staff, and Health Education East Midlands (LETB) staff only.
The library covers a wide range of health, public health and health promotion related topics, including: public health, primary care, commissioning resources, health policy, health inequalities, health management, needs assessment, research and development, evidence based practice, clinical supervision, clinical governance, nursing, nurse prescribing, CVD, nutrition, PSHE, sexual health, teenage pregnancy, diseases and conditions, learning disabilities and substance use.
Public Health, Primary Care and Health Promotion.The Resource Centre collection for loan consists of over 17,000 resources and includes books, videos, DVDs, CD ROMs, teaching packs, display boards, journals, models, posters and training equipment. The catalogue is available at: http://www.knowledgeresources.nottingham-his.nhs.uk,The Resource Centre is also the local agency for the Nottingham City area to supply (in bulk) health promotion leaflets from various national suppliers including the Department of Health, Public Health England and the fpa. Yvonne Finnigan - Resource Centre Officer. Staffs the Resource Centre. Also responsible for inter library loans.
