We offer full services to all staff of the RNOH and the staff and students of University College London (UCL). Students on placement at the RNOH and RNOH affiliates may also use many of our services. All visitors must register at the library information desk upon arrival.
The site collection includes several thousand books and 40 print journal subscriptions. The library has three UCL Explore computers, which allow registered users to access an extensive collection of databases, e-journals, and e-books from UCL.
UCL Special Collections also holds Orthopaedics, Neuro-Musculoskeletal Science, Orthopaedic Nursing, Rehabilitation, Acute care, Biomedical Engineering, and 17th–early-20th Century Orthopaedics books.
The library is located on the first floor of Sir Herbert Seddon Teaching (indicated by number 5 on the map below). Access to the library is via a permanent ramp on the east wing of the Teaching Centre (coordinate E9 on the map below). There are no steps outside the library, in the corridor leading to the library, or within the library itself.
